Northform turns each client’s compliance profile into your firm’s live filing calendar: T2, GST/HST, payroll, slips, WCB. Refreshed nightly, dated the way the CRA actually dates things.
the compliance engine — every rule lives server-side, in one place
Four things a firm does every day, and what Northform does with each of them.
Business number, year-end, GST/HST cycle, payroll frequency, WCB — entered once, or pre-filled by AI from a T2 or CRA letter you upload. Group holdcos and opcos the way the family actually owns them.
You don’t build workflows. You state facts. The engine reads each profile and lays out the year with the CRA’s own month-end conventions — rolled forward nightly, and it never invents a past-due task behind your back.
Day, week, month — every generated deadline and every manual task, with status at a glance: not started, in progress, done. Today is marked in brass; nothing else shouts.
Documents, notes, and a full history of changes live on the client file. Upload a T2 and let AI pre-fill the profile; every action is logged where a reviewer can see it.
That principle settles our scope. Northform covers federal CRA filings and Alberta WCB — and tells you plainly what it doesn’t cover. When the engine meets a profile it doesn’t recognize, it raises an error a human sees, instead of skipping a client quietly.
T2, GST/HST, payroll remittances, T1, information slips, WCB. Quebec provincial filings are not supported — and the product says so.
Unrecognized profile values raise where a human is watching. A wrong or missing deadline never ships quietly.
Per-firm isolation, optional MFA, nightly encrypted offsite backups, and a full JSON export of your own data.
Northform is in private preview while we finish the parts that deserve finishing. The dashboard is where the work happens.
